Stay away, I fear…
your simplicity might consume my resistance,
My weaknesses laid, bared, made vulnerable,
and consequential truths be bowed unforbidden.
You draw me closer to your presence,
And I will allow myself to be depleted,
I have stared long enough to be touched, swamped,
With inundations prompted by your smiles.
I have shackled myself with visions of you,
